Boot lid wiring

   Just fitted a new boot & the wires that should power the heated rear screen 3rd break light & light for the number plate are cut, can you just buy a new set of cables for a boot ? orr what can i do

   You can either join them with crimps/solder and insulation or preferably run your existing cables into the new boot lid with the aid of string or wire to pull them through to where they need to be.

   what about the ones alrady on your car? just pull them through and plug in?

   Done it now, just stripped cables back an twisted both ends and used insulation tape, would have preferd somethin more reliable than tape but nevermind lol all working

   Won't last long mate. Get a proppa job done like soldered or crimped.
