New wheels + suspension conflict?

    Righty, basically im looking at forking out for a lowered suspension and some 15" alloys to whack on my lil 1.1 saxo to at least make it look the part. Local shop has said that if I want to stick 6.5x15" alloys on I will have to have 195/45 tyres as opposed to 195/50 due to possible space issues (aswel as a spacer kit which I knew already). The issue is if i then lower the car by anywhere between 30-50mm, is that gonna cause rubbing due to lack of space for the wheels? Are the 195x45 tyres as necessary as he makes out?

    195/45 are what you want as opposed to 195/50

    The 50 profiles will give you rubbing on the front at each lock, the 45's will still rub but much MUCH less.
