Ebay grill?

   Has anybody on here ever bought a standard grill from ebay? are they any good and do they fit properly?

   looks like a good buy, should be a straight swap, ive got a mk1 and all i do is un screw 3 lil bolts and my grill comes off,

   Yeah, I know they are a straight swap but they are non genuine grills. I need to know if they are as good as the genuine ones and if they fit properly.

   I've been to a few breakers and the grills I've seen are all fading I need a mint one, no fading, etc.. Do you anybody on here who would have one for sale?

   looks abit cheap to me. especially without any postage fees. i thought you had a modified grill that you had put on??

   Remove Citroen Chevrons, Clean grill of dirt/grease, few coats of primer, using very fine sandpaper / wet 'n' dry it smooth, few coats of satin black, Good as New:

    Must say it looks mint! But I want a standard one really, to match the bumpstrips.

    if your selling the car why you being so anal about getting a brand spanking new grill... whats wrong with matt black paint

    Who the hell said I was selling the car? I'm selling the meshed grill, duh. And matt black doesnt match the black on bumpstrips, its my car anyway.

    satin black matches bump strips very well, providing the bump strips are in good nick

    i have done my headlight inserts in satin and they look an identical shade of black to the bump strips on mine.
    
    the grill in the link looks good value but unsure how long it will last till it fades tbh, even the shitroen ones dont last without fading lol

    How long have you had it? has it faded at all? Any pictures of it on your car mate?

    had it bout month and bit hasnt faded at all yet and it fitted same as original, no pics of it on mate but they are pretty good
