even paint

   im trying to spray my bonnet satin black but it dont seem to be going on very evenly, anyone got any tips or shall i just try sand it even???

   keep the gun / rattle can 18"'s away from the panel.....it helps to keep the layers even and helps reduce the chance of runs.

   18 in? i suppose ive been doing it more like 18cm. cheers for the advise mate

   i bet you did it in the sun ? if so ...........
   
   Key up the whole bonnet with a soft scotch pad then..........
   
   Dont do it in the blareing hot sun as this causes the paint to dry unevenly and will cause it to become patchy even more so with satin or matt black
   
   do it in the shade the whole bonnet needs to be wet and then needs to dry as a whole.
