   Similar question to why is the VTS faster to 60 than the GTI. Theres a lot of speculation like stuff such as less passengers, less fuel in the tank, and also VTS will hit 60 in second gear and GTI won't.

   i thought they had the same gearbox, they've got the same engine and weigh exactly the same i cant understand it

    peugeot do their test with more weight in the car to bring down the insurance thats why its cheaper to insure a gti over a vts
    
    basically they lie and make there cars look slower

    sorry m8 dont get this is what your saying is that a standerd vts will do 60 in second gear when my standerd furio does that

    I'm just making the point that there is lots of speculation over why the VTS is faster to 60 than a GTi, when effectively they are the same car.
