bodykits please help

    hi all just had my front bumper fitted in the body shop and it looks good but fucking fits like shit not very happy. Its a D&M Series 1 they have'nt used the same fixings no bonding they have bolted it on so theres a gap in the middle and it dont line up. so im going to take it up tuesday have a go, are tell them to bond it on how do they hold the front up do they have to use the orignal long plastic bit on the old bumper then bond it. jay thanks

    sounds like its been bodged on mate... hope it didnt cost you alot...!?

    yea you have to use the plastic beam off your original bumper....

    and have to custom make side mounts... thats what i done when i fitted my bumper....

    where abouts do you live?

    the D&M stuff is notorious for being shite quality, so it might need some work done to get it lined up/fitting properly.

    Most front bumpers require custom brakets to support the sides buddy... The bodyshop wont do that for you... I think your best bet is to take it of your self and re fit it with brackets.
