Important! : remote key fob

when i bought my car, (mk2 vtr) i was given two keys, one for the ignition and one for the central locking, i think this was because one was lost at one point.
anyway i presume that the remote central locking hardware is still in the car. i wanted to know if it was possible to sort some kind of remote central locking out for my car, cheers

you dont have a fob? you should be able to get one and have it progrmmed to the car. a key for the door and a key for the barrel probably means its had either a barrel or door lock replaced with one from a different car but that wont affect the central locking.

the reciever on the car is next to the sunroof opening handle.

i little purple dome. inside there is the reciever. u can get another fob from Citroen for about £120, i know coz i rang them for the same not long ago.

but u would be better in gettin an aftermarket alarm that does the central locking also. work out cheaper, plus you get an alarm aswel.
