ECU Locked

   My ecu has locked itself the black box was removed ages ago up under the dash. What could have cured this? and is there anyway to unlock the ecu? Thanks peeps.

   Speak to ryanmt on here mate, he's the guy who unlocks ecu's and seems to know his stuff

   Is there anyway i could unlock it myself? iv got the original ecu and black box, key and everything. I just dont see how it could have locked itself as the black box wasnt even plugged in all i done was change the head and the ecu was taken off and put in the boot.

   mine done the same on my gti, i had to get a new ecu, ive got a spare single plug ecu if you need it? 30quid.. unlocked aswel.. cant be locked again..

   I would have had it off you but mines 3 plug, bloody 3 plugs are like rocking horse shit at the mo. Iv got a vtr 3 plug ecu locked that i was using until it locked itself and that was ment to be unlocked so it couldnt lock again. Ryanmt dont do 3 plugs do he? in know he said he was locking into it. Iv just PM'd him and asked but i dont know anywhere else.

   hi vtrlogan is that ecu off a vtr if so i will have it off you mate if it is unlocked could you post to stoke on trent scheers mate
