saxo vts cat place

   on my 2003vts the cat has gone and tryin to find a replacement every1 sayin i need the on with the cat on the down pipe but i know its under the car, does this mean the exhaust sytem on car is all wrong. is the cat oftern on the down pipe on a vts?

   hi mate i have a mk2 vts 2002 the cat on them is underneath the car you can get them from any andrew page depot's about £100 hope this helps.

   definatley under the car, the vts never changed from having it under the car just the three plug models have a second lambda sensor after the cat so the rest of the exhaust system is slightly smaller to the tip
   
   ring about through the local directories, you might find a fitted one at just a good price

   All 16valvers have the cat under the car, i work for an exhuast center and have looked into it. Iv got a 3 plug 16v with a decat but for the mot will i need the lambda plugged in behind the cat? if not il still my old vtr cat on it.
