buckets/106 gti leathers?

  1. #1
next month i will be buying some new interior for my car, at first i want bucket seats but after reading on here that they was not nice on day to day use i thought not, is this statement true, or can you get comfy ones?

But then i was looking at 106 gti leather seats...

3rd option would be bucket seats (black leather) and 106 gti leather rear seats? (if can get them on own)

What do you guys think is the best option? Thank you

bucket seats but I dont know as I have never owned a car with them in so dont know the comfyness. 106 gti seats is a good idea id like any seats to replace my seats as there comfy as f**k but dont hold you into the seat. So if anyone is selling any vtr, buckets, 106 gti seats please pm me

not sure on buckets but gti seats are very comfy and supportive. easier than buckets as you dont have to worry about subframes etc.

106 gti seats are much comfier than standard vt seats though trying to find a good set (little/no wear) on the bolsters is getting harder and harder these days.

I've recently put buckets in my white vts that I use daily. They are tight (i'm average sized, 32" waist) compared to my mates that i recently experienced on our trip down to FCS but they hold you so well they're great. One thing to remember with buckets is that they look daft if you dont have harnesses.

On a daily drive (take my word for it) harnesses arent that great but you get used to them pretty quickly. If you have different fowk in the car a lot then they are a hassle as they have to be adjusted for each person. Plus the fact that they restrict/hamper access to rear seats.

There are so many styles of buckets that youre sure to find something you like but for day to day you cant go wrong with GTI half leathers.

    Really? :/

I find mine actually really comfy..

and alot of my mates who have been in the car said they're alot more comfortable then my friends car who's got a westy.

But yeah I'd choose the 106 leathers over buckets tbh, my mates got buckets I can never get out of them easily haha

i used to use a bucket everyday
just dont get a cheap one

the more spent on seats the better but find a set that fit you well if you go buckets

i currently have black leather recliners and 106 leathers and tbh its lush

my mates always commented on how comfy my vtr seats were! lol
also i want some "buckets" in black leather and gti leather rears, they wont look stupid without harnesses if you buy the right buckets, i just want some nice comfy reclinable buckets not full on hard care track seats as my car isnt a track car, and i dont want to make it look like that i would love to have some sparco milano seats and they look lush in road cars

You could get some half buckets, half leather and half cloth, not race seats, get them without harness wholes so there kinda sporty, like some out of an mg zr. Not those ova as they'd be hard to fit i spect, their just and example. Also without car name stiching ova.

Those milano's look nice. I agree with seats like those i don't think normal seat belts would look too weird

Depending on what bucket seats, I would personally have the 106 interior, so nice and comfy
