Mixing exhaust systems

Currently i have on my VTS.

    Standard Manifold
    Piper de-cat
    Magnex centre-section with silencer
    Magnex backbox.

Where the magnex centre-section connects to the decat the magnex part has corroded away and no garage or myself can stop it blowing.

I would like to get a new silenced centre section but im not sure how to go about it because i want to keep the magnex backbox but magnex backboxes have a funny way of connecting to the centre pipe compared to other systems.

Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to change the magnex centre section and have a system that fits together properly, doesnt blow and whilst still keeping the magnex backbox.

    Thanks.

if i wher in your position mate id try to get the same center pipe again, if not what about a custom exhaust builder, surely they could build you something that would fot spot on.

Your right in thinking that the magnex is funny compared to others, apart from getting another maxnex centre section im not too sure what other option there is apart from getting one custom made, which may be costly =/!

just put it into any good garage, i had mine welded up, and a custom pipe made to connect it for £25

Surely i cant have it welded up though because come MOT time i cant put the original CAT back on.

Also what bore is the magnex system compared to the piper? Maybe thats why im struggling to stop it blowing.

Get a custom centre section made, magnex has the slip together joins between the centre section and back box doesn't it? All other brands have a flared flange.
