found the cause now got another problem

    The reason my my power steering was not working was because my alternator was on its way out.. Had my alternator changed for a second hand one and also had the cambelt changed at the same time. Now I got a noise coming from engine mainly hear it in first and second gear.. Its like a electric sound you can hear it more when I dip the clutch down.. Does anyone know what it could be..

    P.s not long had new gear box and clutch

    your power steering pump will make a whining noise. maybe your not used to hearing it work lol. start you car leave it out of gear and turn steering wheels see if the noise changes

    Its only makes the noise when I rev the engine.. Never makes it when I turn..
