ticking noise from engine

   I have a ticking noise coming from the engine. when i rev it goes louder. hes a video ull have to listen closely though sound isnt to good.

   is this a problem? its been doing it about a month now

   The cars a saxo vtr mk2
   year 2000 with 135k on the clock
   The only engine modifications it has are a decat pipe and k&n

   Check your sparkplugs are tight. I had the same and one was loose. I cleaned it all out and tightened back up and the noise has gone.

   we had this problem with a bmw at work, turned out one of the spark plugs was slightly knackers and it was slightly blowing past it, so yeah check theyre tight

   just checked the spark plugs 2 of them were lose. but the ticking noise is still there. if i put my head by the passenger footwell inside the car i can hear it plain

   ooooh you're f***ed now then.... lol.
   Not sure what it could be then. Maybe permanent damage from you revving sh!t out of it for the past month. I checked mine after 2 days.
