How to reduce vibrations?

   when fitting an exhaust system is there anything i can do to reduce noise and rattles inside the car?

   as in... avoid the system being in contact with the bodywork/chassis?
   
   yep, loose-fit everything together pop in on and then twist and wiggle about until it sits correctly without contact.
