new head

got some valve issues atm, looking like it would be more cost effective to replace the entire head, feel i may aswell replace it with an improved head, only one i've seen is on citunig, it's £600 , any suggestions on where else to get one? cheaper? or any other better suggestions on what to do

Well you can get a standard head for sub £100 - or then a 'modified' head for say £500 +

but is the £500 head better than standard? What's it had done to it? Will it give you noticeable gains for £400? You'll presumably have to transfer your old head springs/collets/retainers etc over to the new head

If you want to tune the car in the future, cams etc. then a modified head might be worth it - but do your homework and get some reviews of the companies that you're looking at to do your head.

In my experience, if the car isn't running right, then i don't like to introduce anything different so that you can diagnose the problem and fix it.
