A few things

    Afternoon,

A few things id like a bit of advise on.

If i wanted to sawp from 3 stud hubs to 4 stud hubs would i need to take the drive shafts from the donor car as well or would the existing shafts be ok?
(Yes i realise id also need 4 stud brake discs)

Does anyone know the dimensions of the 1.4L con rods / crank?

4 stud rear drums may be different so I would say it's best to change the rear shoes aswell

Depends, there were 3 different styles of driveshaft. And VTS shafts dont fit very well in 1.1 gearboxes for example so really your gonna want the correct shafts.

there are two main shaft designs; flat and tapered

early saxos have flat and later saoxs have tapered shafts,

if you have 3 studs them im 99% sure you have a mk1 so you will have flat shafts, so if you got your hubs from a mk1 furio/westcoast/vtr/vts i think you'd be fine with your drive shafts

im not sure about the rear beam, i dunno if you have to change it or if you can just buy the 4 sud hubs but i think the whole beam has to be changed in which case id buy a 106 gti beam as its the best out the range

Fair enough, I know its a MK1 and im thinkin of either an odd ball 1.1 rebuild or swapping to a 1.4. just wasnt too sure if i'd need to nick the hub and break assembly aswell
