Engine Rust

   thinkin of painting my engine, but first would like to get it rust free and gleaming
   
   havent actually got much rust at all, but any ideas about removing/treating any rust that is there?
   
   also, what about behind the black rubber?

   sand away rust
   
   use rust protector from halfords
   
   then spray over that

   nice, cheers mate. what about where the rubber goes around the engine? it would be difficult do paint up to the rubber edge without leavin a noticeable gap..any ideas?
