Morning,
Just after a bit of help, I had some work done on the car last week, new disks pads, calipers, drive shaft and second hand power steering pump fitted.
Just noticed yesterday however when I put the car on full lock it makes a horrible like scraping noice a bit like when the wheel is catching on something.
Had a good look at both the inner wing liners and there all ok, it does do the same noice however when the car is standing but can hear it more when the car is actually driving on full lock.
I wasn't sure if the power steering pump (which was from a scrap yard and been sat in my boot over 5 months) was knackered, the steering works fine and it doesn't seem to be whining like the old one did. Could air in the system make this noise and will it clear in time??
It only does it when on full lock.
Just wanted some ideas as I don't really want to take it back and look like one of those customers who takes car every time it's been in a garage as they are a great bunch of lads who did the work.
Many thanks for any replys
