Just doing the 1.1 to vtr conversion and I have an oil leak Looks to me like the sump needs sealing again, any ideas people pics below:

Yeah it does look like the sumps leaking. Get a new gasket there only a few quid new. I always add some sealant aswell. But make sure the surfaces are oil free!! I use thinners or brake cleaner to clean the surfaces. After a new one has been fitted it should be fine mate. Good luck

I didn't think it had a gasket just thought it was sealant, off to GSF tomorrow then lol

deff no sump gasket, RTV sealer is the answer

oh thats good then... thought they would of had a gasket. Just put sealant on then simple mate

has to be the right sealer or it will react with the oil,it happend on my old 1.1 engine when i had that,best is to go to shitreon and ask for some,they should stock it and i think its about £8 for a tube
