Pro comp induction kit vs panel filter?

  1. #1
Is it worth getting a pro comp with a green filter?

Have been offered one but was just going to get a panel filter.

Despite the difference in price, any difference in performance gains?

Cant compare like for like with any figures, but the ProComp is probably the best enclosed induction imo. Made from real carbon fibre to reduce heat soak in the enclosure, the sound is really loud, fools some poeple thinking throttle bodies and the filter aint jus shoved in, its in the correct place for maximum air velocity.

Can buy the same design off streamline carbon for £450 probably making it the most expensive induction.

ProComp are planning to make a come back aswell

Sounds like i found myself a winner then.

Can i use the hench green filter off kam?

Like the one with the hole in the centre to act as a double filter?

Not sure which one you mean mate, is it the one that looks like 2 cones stuck together? Should be enough space for it if it fits in the raceland one, but theres less space in the procomp where the filter is.
