51 plate furio

  1. #1
    Hi,
sorry this is my first post and don't know if this has been asked previously.

I've just bought a 51 plate furio as a run about, i was told when i bought the car it did not have the standard size wheels on, and have noticed when i put the full lock on turning the wheels rub against the arch.
the wheels fitted are vts i believe (185/55/15) and i want to put on some that will not rub anymore, could anyone tell me the correct wheel/tyre size for the furio and does anyone know if I fit the vtr alloys (185/55/14) will i still have the same problem.

    thanks in advance.

I asked that question when i bought it as was told no, and it doesnt look to have been lowered, so hopefully they will be ok then, just ive seen a few on ebay for a ok price. thanks

Vtr wheels are standard on furios

VTR wheels won't rub on a furio, if your local i would swap my vtr wheels for your vts wheels?

vts wheels from a saxo came with 195/45/15 tyres.

I would guess that your vts wheels came from a xsara vts or the previous owner was tight and got the cheaper 185/55/15 tyres fitted.

Either get some 195/45/15 tyres fitted or sell/swap them for some vtr wheels plus cash

No, they're not. VTR wheels are std on VTR's...
Furio's came with the same size tyre on steel wheels with trims on.

my furio came with standard rims (steels) which are same size as vtr wheels but but there thinner , ive been told that vtr alloys were a optional extra when new but i put my alloys on and they rub like crazy on full lock so will see if wheel spacers will do the trick

I dont see how any vtr or vts wheel will cause a problem compared to any other saxo??? I thought all the bodys were the same, other than trim etc...

they are, its all about tyres

Above, All about tyres, VTS/VTR rims shouldnt have any problem on any saxo,
