brake pain in the arse!

   hello all
   
   i took me wheels off a few weeks ago and gave my calippers a clean and painted them wheels whent back on and everything was fine! then 2 weeks ago i took my wheels off to paint my steelies and made sure i cleand the disks and pads before i put the wheels back on but now when i brake lightly there is a nasty grinding or rubbing sound and the brakes are not as sharp? driving me mad it is what can it be?

   Checked the pads?? know it sounds daft but when you get towards the last of the pad it disappears very quickly.

   okkay mate will do hope it solves it because its a horrible noise to hear from the one things i want to work perfect on my car !! lol

   grit between the pad and the disk? i dont mean a huge stone but literally sand! if it is either youll see it on the disk, there will be marks on it that are clear or if you run ur finger over the disk you will feel it seeing as it is a new problem it mite not of made big enuf marks!
