Valve Stem Seals

   Hi people,
   
   Ive been told that my valve stem seals need replacing as the car chucks out a bit of smoke on startup.
   Ive got a good price from someone on here to come and fit them for me. However i need the seals first, (its a vtr so i only need 8).
   Ive been on GSF and they state valve stem seals as for "SAXO 1.0/1.1/1.4"
   Says nothing about a 1.6 though. Are they the same? or do i need to look elsewhere?

   ive got a packet of stem seals here sam got them in my 1.4 kit if they are the same you can hav em for roastage

   Genuine Citroen items are better quality I've heard? They're only a few pence anyway.

   what engine is this for?
   
   1.6 vtr? Mk1 so blacktop 90bhp one ?
   
   I'll price them up from Citroen if you can confirm the above

   after giving me that good quote a few months back. Won't be for a few weeks yet though.

   Around about £1.50 each, so around £12 total for Citroen ones.

   You'd be best to buy a complete kit with all the other seals included as you'll have to remove the head to fit them and there'll be a lot of other things which need replacing during the rebuild.
