wierd knocking?? plz help

   hi all can anyone help plz? ihave just bought my wife a saxo so she can learn to drive nothing special really 1.4 west coast!! few bits need doin on it to make it sweet!! i have a knocking on the passenger side front more so when i reverse! some times when i pull off but only when it just starts to pull off either! can anyone help at all??????

   Sounds like driveshaft.

   Hi, I agree with werdna.
   
   Try looking for black oily grease around the wheel arch - it may have leaked from a driveshaft gaiter, the joint runs dry and wears out.

   if youve not replaced a drive shaft then wouldnt recomend it mate.

   They are not hard to change at all.

   i had same problem mate it drove me nuts , it was knocking,squeakin the lot .. its quite common just changed driveshaft on it and it was fine..
   and its pretty much the only thing mate hope this helps

   New boot and cv grease. But thats not a easy task. Buy a second hand one with no knockin. New ones are around 70squid.
