#2I assume you mean a 4-1 manifold.
You not thought about putting a 16v engine in there. It would give you more BHP then you would get from the modifications that you are looking at/have got currently. If not then get a stand-alone ECU, much better then missing around with the stock one, some places won't touch the stock one anyway. If you got an OMEX or something similar, I think you can take it will you for other cars, you just need a new loom for it.
What is your budget anyway? There isn't much you can do to a VTR to get big power unless you are prepared to throw big money at it. -
#3hi there i did wont a 16v in did not know any 1 that would do it so just put other mods in. got about £1000 to spend for now. its about 125 bhp would like it to 150 bhp it needs all bushes in and other things done as well.Quote:I assume you mean a 4-1 manifold.

#4125 is good for vtr its a shame that you could not gert someone to purt an s lump
you still would of had change for 4 2 1 manifold de cat and induction kit that would of been about 132bhp then you couold of saved for cams in future etc -
#5you can buy an engine and pay someone to fit it for less tahn £500, would be a much better idea imo
i paid £300 for everything to do my conversion, i fitted it myself but willamsvts (or something along those lines) said he'll fit an engine for £150
