Exhuast rattle

    As said above ^^ my exhust rattles badly i cant seem to do the spring bolts for the centre section , advise needed please.

    well i get them as tight as they will go and yet it still rattles about,

    order some new bolts springs and nuts from citroen, either take old ones off or if u cant grind them.

    yh i put new a new set on because the old ones were rusty, but i took them off and forgot how the bolts went in like spring what side and all that i know this must sound retarded lol

    are you certain that is where its rattling? Stupid question, but do you have a lower brace at all? Mine rattles on that as the bolt that holds the mani to the gearbox is missing and its dropped down slightly. That should be sorted this week when i get my 4-2-1 on.

    yh its just i put a de-cat on the uva week so had to change mani, got pissed off wiv it put old mani back on and ever since then there has been problems and it shakes vioently at tyhat point.

    If you've changed mani, did you put the gearbox mount bolt back in? are the bolts (springs etc) on the connection to the centre section tight and secure?

    Yh I know where you mean the clip on myn has broken ov but has been like that ages n neva rattld before so I don't know what the problem is

    you've probably hit a bump mate & bent it. i did in the 1.1 a year ago. if you try to bend it back it'll put a weak point in it & thats where it'll start to go on you. I put 3 old exhaust mounts on mine & it did the trick

    Mine rattles aswell after i had new zorst fitted (see my post Help) had it fitted at a propper garage, now it rattles to hell down center/towards the back

    but as per my post its only when cold and the clutch is at a certain point
