M.O.T Question

   Righ guys this is a question for a work friend he has his car due for MOT this month and is concerned as his 2nd gear is goosed cant be placed in 2nd gear can his car fail for his gearbox not working correctly

   A vehicle is not even put in gear for the mot, except to move it for the brake test!

   yea as said, MOT tests dont really consider engine health (unless it overheats) in which case they have to stop test, some don't even bother doing that. I passed my mot with my gearbox screaming and it blew up a day later. lol
