I am currently stripping my car and therefore any wiring that I don't need I am getting rid of.

I am not an electrician in any way so am simply following wires back and cutting at the source.

I have nearly finished but have a few questions just to figure out if I can do any further.

    Firstly, WHat is this for:

I have removed my electric mirrors and windows so the only wires going into this that still work are the 3 grey on the right and earth. The box itself is attached to teh back of the dash fuse panel infront of the immobiliser. What are they for?

    Secondly:

The two cables lying down on the right of this picture. They come from the front of the car (fuse box) then behind the passenger seat and back up the transmission tunnel. I think they then plug into the dash but I don't have the interior to find out!

You will also see in the above picture one of the cables that would plug into the alarm. I have already completely removed the other, Does anyone know if I can do the same with this? The car starts fine without in plugged in.

    Lastly:
Does the dash need to be plugging in for the brake lights to work! If not, then i've cut something I shouldn't have!

The brown plug with two wires is for the handbrake sensor switch.

Other one on it may be the Airbag ECU??? just compare lengths and see where they would end up.

and the dash doesn't need to be in for the brake lights to work. there is a sensor on the back of the brake pedal, try and trace the wire and see if its been cut

    Jordysport your a star!

Think i've idenified the mysterious wire as what would plug into the alarm keypard if I had one. As I don't it's coming out!

Spot on with the brake pedal, although even more silly, I had disconnected it when removing the dash and forgotten!

Is the grey box not the central locking control box?
