   They can look ok on mk1's if the rest of the car suits it

   Do they cause extra corssion under them? Because I serpose damp will get under them and will rot?

    I think they are a bit of a waste of time tbh, as has already been said if you dont keep it clean or remove it to sort the body work, the paint will just get fuckt underneath it anyway.
    
    the only benefit is if you have a very expensive custom paint job, your average sax doesnt need one.

    Ive only seen these in foreign countries e.g. USA, Mexico. Do you haave to import them or something?
