Non colour coded bumpers??

Thinking of doing something a bit different with my Saxo and I'm going to start by smoothing it up a bit.

I was wondering if they ever made a Saxo with just standard black plastic bumpers (not colour coded) in the MK1 style? If so would they fit my MK2 with a bit of work?

If not would 106 bumpers fit at all?

I want to go for an understated old school look and the VT bumpers don't suit what I've got in mind. Whatever happened to creative licence?

if you are wanting a plastic bumper as in black plastic why dont you just sand down a vt bumper to get the paint off or buy one that hasnt been painted from euro car parts or something ?? ebay could be good

you should do the whole bottom half in bare plastic that could look quite cool

I'm looking for a plain bumper. No fogs or lines at all just a square, solid bumper that looks like it's factory made. I'll probably have to make one myself to get exactly what I want but I thought if Citroen had maybe made one I could work with that.

Something like this. No colour coding just plastic but I want it to be slightly deeper and fatter. I don't wanna go away from the factory look plastic though so I'll maybe head to the scrappies with a measuring tape and see what I can find!

Hmmmm, no I'm definitely going to have to knock some up myself I think. I basically want a smooth Euro look bumper with a matte factory like finish. The car is getting resprayed in a dark matte grey eventually but I want plain black plastic bumpers.

    Ah ye of little faith!

Hopefully I will prove you wrong. If not there's always the option of just sticking the VTR bumpers back on and pretending it never happened.
