alryt guyss. just got the "carbon fibre" housing for my induction kit with the steel piping and i was just wonderin the best way to clean up your engine bay....e.g what bits to lok out for when washing around the engineee ???? any ideas would be greattt

#2Personally i wouldn't use a pressure washer like some do. Don't like the idea of it myself.
I used diluted Premium Blue wheel cleaner (i had no Meg's APC), some damp cloths, paint brushes and the garden hose on shower setting. Being very careful where the hose went.
I rubbed all the block and gearbox down and painted it.
Silicone spray on all plastics...
Just make sure you get into every single nook and cranny if you want to do it properly. Took me hours to get mine like this.

Then you have to keep on top of it. I also use FK 1000P sealant on all part's which are powdercoated. -

#4CAr was immaculate at FCS mate, top job. My cars isnt on the same level but i find WD40 sprayed over everything then scrubbed off leaves and immaculate finish. Also using Autoglym viynl and rubber car sprayed evrywhere leaves a shiny finish.
