whats sort of performance gains

got a unbranded backbox, currently sourcing a 4-2-1 mani. and have fitted raceland red(for time being)
but oviously fitting mani decats mk2's but i would rather cat it up again cos can;t be arsed with mot time.
is it worth fitting the mani or not bother as its being cat'd up again, or will i still see some inprovements?

I would fit the 4 branch and a full system and just keep the original manifold for mot time, its a few hour job to swap it over and its only once a year! A system from mani back will be fine for mot so its only the mani with the cat in that would have to be swapped back.

yea but for hassle sake would rather replace the undercar cat for mot time.
so after the mani wanna start small with engine mods and work up, any suggestions?

Fitting a 4-2-1, induction kit and exhaust will free your rev's up noticibly. However bhp wise it will be completly un-noticible, 3-4bhp max. Its definetly worth doing, just keep in mind its probably worth doing it just after MOT time, to save clarting about putting the car back on etc.

Yeh it would be easier to do that i just wasnt sure what you would do with the two lambdas if you got a under car cat, if you had a mani and induction kit and full de-cat system then next would be cams and standalone or re-map but thats when it gets expensive!!!

and you'd get it mapped to the current setup on car presumabllly or would it be better to wait for re map till majority of stuff is on them map it to full setup?
