Important! : Vts hub fault

   Hi
   I replaced the nsf wheel bearing on my VTS only to find that the Hub has exccessive play so the bearing can move around in it
   
   ive seen a hub on ebay from a 2003 car but will it fit my 1998 car or not?
   
   also ive got a terrible knocking from the same side on right hand bends could the hub fault of damaged the CV joint or the shaft as thats what it sounds like?

   there are early and late type hubs, to suit taper and non taper CVs.
   
   make sure you DO NOT mix them up, taper shafts MUST go into taper hubs and visa versa. other way around and the wheel bearing isnt supported properly and can end up with disastrous results!
   
   i recommend you get yourself to a local garage for a professional opinion ASAP.

   sounds like i need to find out which ive got is there any easy way of telling? mines got abs if that makes a difference
