Car is running on three cylinders

   one of my mates has offered me a 1.4 blue westie mark 1 but he said that the car is running on three cylinders could this be the ht leads coilpack looking at buying it soon so wanting to no what it is before i buy it theres no really lound ruff sound like a tractor it just shakes a bit and sounds a bit more beefy ??

   testing a vtr coil pack on it tomorrow hope for the best

   Take the plugs out and see if all four plugs are sparking..

   it could be faulty injector,coilpack,sparkplug or headgasket...

   i had that problem and it turnedout to be an injector fault

   my old 1.0 corsa was always running on 3 cylinders for some reason.. never figured out why...

   my old 1.2 corsa used to go on to 3 cylinders from time to time and i never figured out why

    headgaset has already been re done if it was the injectors then i probz wont buy it because it to much hasstle to repair aint they ? take the spark plugs out and do what just turn the car over ?

    mine was lyk this bent 2 valves sorted them owt nn bit beeta bbut not much
