Manifolds

   Afternoon,
   
   Going to get my new manifold fitted tomorrow, Its a standard 8v exhaust mani and i've cleaned up the insides and removed as much of the casting marks as possible. im guessing a 1-2bhp gain would be ball park if not optimistic. anyone care to guess?
   
   also will standard exhaust past be ok to seal the manifold gasket to the head?

   have you had anything done to the ports?
   dont just use paste. use a new gasket if you can get one or the old one with a little bit.

   unless its ported, no you wont gain a thing fitting a standard 'cleaned' manifold.
