slight problem with tracking

    hi i have a saxo vts and its lowered by 40 mm and i need it tracking but i cant find anywhere that will be able to do it cause the gauges wont fit on top of my wheels :/ . To be honest i have looked round a lot but i just wondered if you guys knew anywhere in the manchester/stockport area ? cheers in advance

    I know "normal" garages cant access it if its uber low, although 40mm isnt that low - kwik fit etc should be able to do it.... However, you could try any good performance orientated garages, they will no doubt sort you out.

    don't know around manchester but our local ATS has no problems as they use laser aligner rather then the type that dangle off the top of the wheel. 40mm isn't that low anyway!!

    i know but all the garages i have been too the gauges still dont fit between the wheel and arch

    you might struggle to find a place that actualy is willing to do it

    i used to work for Kwik Fit in coventry and the technicians used to put the guages on then tell the owner it is fine even if it was out as its more difficult than say an escort or sumat purely because there not the easiest cars to track up
    so make sure your not being fobbed off
