Important! : new fuel pump???

    first off all i was fillin my coolant bottle up with the garden hose and it splashed all over the engine thn i went into the car started it up thn it run for about 2 mins started spluttering and cut out tryd starting it again and the fuel pump wasnt priming ive pulled the pump out and tested it with a 12 v from my battery and it was working fine ive checkd fuses and breaks in the wiring and i think the rely is workin (not sure how to check it) any help wud b gr8 oh and whn i turn the engine over the pump starts priming just not whn the ignitions turnd on

    Hi,

    The problem may be electrical with water getting into your coil/coilpack, you'll need to dry it out if you can. Seen problems like this when folks jet wash the engine bay.

    The fuel injection relay is under the ECU tray but it's not easy to test.
