front wipers

   i have an issue with me front wipers, basically the intermittent does not work at all and the wipers do not go in the horizontal position when turned off, they just stop wherever they are at the time
   
   i have replaced the wiper stalk and wiper motor and the problem still persists
   
   any help guys

   Hi Garry,
   
   Sounds like you need to change your windscreen wiper relay/timer. It is a blue (i think) relay like box on the top right of the passenger side fuse board.

   yes i have been looking into that and i have removed it from the car and it made no difference it was still the same. So i thought it was this but i have been doing a little research and it says the blue one is for the rear intermittent so im confused. I dont really fancy forking out 30quid if im not certain it will fix it as ive already wasted over 30quid.
   
   unless the rear and front intermittent use the same relay?

   Intermittent on the rear? Just looked up the price:
   
   00006555EL WIPER DELAY 35.91 GBP Inc VAT
   
   They seem to be common across all Saxos so you could:
   
   1) Find another Saxo and try one from there
   2) Get one from a breakers/eBay

   Thanks for your help mate, i will try one out of a mates car before spending yet more money. I can't even remember if saxos even have rear intermittent, im dewipered btw.
