furio has VTR/S kit allready fitted on...
  3. #3
nah mate i bought mine crashed and, and its completly standard 1.1..no arches, skirts anything..
  4. #4
If it's a 1.1 do you not mean "Forte" rather than the "Furio" which is the 1.4 version.
  5. #5
well it has furio badges on the rear panels and its 1.1, so unless the owner before me stuck the badges on for the craic, im pretty sure its a furio..Back to topic!! can anyone help??
  6. #6
furio is a 1.4 model isnt it?
  7. #7
    whats the problem???

Arches might be a bit of pain? can you be more specific man?
  8. #8
You sure they dont sat Forte on the rear pannels!

same stlye as the furio writing!

And they kit will go on with work and cutting, but if it's a furio then the kit will go straight on as one must have come off!

Find out what car you have first!

it definatly says furio..its like the one adsayer has in his arvatar..
  10. #10
    Thats a 1.5D 5 door. Nothing like a furio...
  11. #11
Like everyone else has said the furio is a 1.4i (I've got one) and it comes with the VT* kit as standard. Even if it had been in a crash surely there would be holes for the arches to clip into? Otherwise it's a 1.1i Forte/Desire.

If you put your reg plate in here it will show you what model your car is.

    ...just as classy though

This is confusing me a little.

Does you car have flat arches like mine or wider arches that feature on the VTR and VTS (and furio)??
  13. #13
    I never stated otherwise.
  14. #14
Maybe Ireland have different model names. Like in some european countries the VTS is a 1.4...iirc
  15. #15
it definatly says furio and its furio in the manual aswell but yeah it has flat arches not the flared arches like the vtr/s models, thats what im putting on to it!!
  16. #16
Is it a mk1? Because I know you get mk1 1.4s that come with the 1.1 body.
  17. #17
    nope its mk2...2001
  18. #18
If somebodys sold the original kit and replaced them with a 1.1 kit then you've been done. Other wise your wrong and it can't be a furio.

Get some pictures, it might help.

    wwwwwwierd.

im interested to see what car this is tho.
  20. #20
yeah no probs guys, ill get pics up in the mornin!
  21. #21

    There ya go.
  22. #22
    Well that looks definitely like a 1.1, this is a furio;

    I know 'cause it's mine.

Thats 100% a forte. If you want to put VT* rear arches on you will have to make an arch with an angle grinder becasue you have flat arches under your rubstrip. Then you will need a VT* rear bumper to make it all line up. Ohh and the rear arch is part of the side pannel so you will need the front ones too or it will look daft.

Unless you mean those horrible stick on bits Citroen sell which just look a mess!!!!
  24. #24
i have everything, vtr front/rear arches, rub strips, rear bumper, skirts and door panels..So all ill need to do is cut out an arch shape with a angle grinder?? Whats the best method to use to bond the kit on??

    Thanks for all your help,
    much appreciated..
  25. #25
Yes I think thats all you will have to do to make the rear fit.

You would be best using the clips and bonding it to make sure it stays put. It will take a long time to mark all the new holes needed but it will be worth it incase it slips whilst drying.

look in the other thread here the same topic is already running with pictures and help.
