starter motor question

   hi guys im buying a VTS lump this weekend, what i wanted to know is will my 1.4 starter motor crank the engine over? in more basic words will it fit? lol or will i need to buy a vts starter? im keeping my 1.4 box on with the vts engine for the moment as ive just had the box refurbed. any help would be appreciated. cheers Lee

   i'd take a stab in the dark and say yes as all the gearboxes fit the same. not sure though

   bit late but yes it dus work i have a 1.4 box and 1.4 starter motor on my vts....

   I used a 1.4 starter and it was fine
