CV Boot

   Basically the clip holding the rubber cover over the CV joint continues to come off, and pisses grease all over my arch etc :/
   
   I tried initialy using a plastic zip tie but that just came off straight away.
   
   I then used 2 hose clips connected and tightened as much as posible, and this lasted for a week or so but earlier today it's just come off again :/
   
   Any suggestions what i should use? I've looked into buying an actually cv clip but that looks like some little flimsy metal that will be worse then the hose clip.

   Try a large jubilee clip.

   Was your car making a squeeky noise while driving whilst CV boot in this state?
