More Problems

Right.......

First can anything tell me why my car is making this noise.....

Second, my drivers side wheel sounds like its creaking, recently had driveshafts changed and a whole new suspension???

third, there is a really loud rattle coming from the back of the car and its doing my head it. sounds like its coming from arouns the torsion bar area but i have no knowledge of cars, just a guess

the rattle from the rear could be the spare wheel bracket?

where is the engine sound coming from? near the exhaust manifold or from inlet by the 16v plastic cover?

as for the creaking im not too sure.....

i guess i can take the wheel bracket off yeh?????

the noise is coming from the engine, when you take the oil cap off its louder so guess its coming from in there??

yeh you can take that off mate

if its coming from actualy inside the engine then im not 100% but maybe a lifter is sticking? is it abit of a tappy sound and it gets faster as you rev?

watch the video mate and you will hear it, it dont seem to make any difference if i rev the car or not, stays the same!!

lots and lots because if its been like it a while the crank will be scored or worn oval, engine out,tipped upside down,sump off,crank out.

mate-i had the same creaking noise-turned out it was the spring(near-side) rubbing against the inside of the housing.new spring did the job.but then again,some idiot had fitted the wrong type of spring in the 1st place,i think just to sell the car

big end bearing too had that noise on old corsa sri due to no oil

well i checked the oil and there was plenty, also its only been making that noise a couple of weeks.!!!

as for the srings i had a new suspension fitted about a month ago!!

Actually it does get louder as you drive faster, hope that helps someone diagnose the problem
