Hi, I am currently in the process of replacing the blown head gasket on my 'W' reg 1.1 citroen saxo. I bought this car second hand back in March but have only just discovered this problem (I'm not much of a mechanic). The water was full of oil and the oil had started to go a little creamy. My question is, do I use engine flush before I replace the oil? and if so are there any recommended brands? I have been told that engine flush is a must if i don't want problems further down the line (especially since there was water in the oil), but i have also been told that engine flush can cause more problems than it fixes.
Engine flush after replacing blown head gasket?

#2drain everything off. put some oil, water in etc. Run it for 5 mins, drain it off again and then top them up with some good quality products. Should be sufficient.
