Vtr more power?

   Hi,
   Bit of a noobie to proper engine mods (diy turbo, carbs etc.) but just looking to squeeze alittle more out of my vtr, funds are alittle resricted but not looking for typical 'fit vts lump' although I do the work myself (built not bought lol)
   Just wanna know what you guys recommend for a more responsive 8v without breaking the bank?
   Probs looking for cams soon but bit confused with which to choose lol any ideas?

   cheapest option imo is s1 rallye box
   
   or strip it
   
   cant comment on cams n that as when i had a vtr i kept it standard
