#7check power steering fluid topped up, also could be a air lock, not sure if there is anyway to bleed them though :/
-
#8you can bleed the system by turning the wheels to full lock, on full lock it automatically bleeds the air out, so turn it full lock right to left about 50 times
check the connections are clean and also the earth, also you may want to check the fuses
rule out the easy things first if it still does it then check the condition of the pipes, lowering on mk2s cause the pipe to rub on the tracking/steering arm causing a pin hole leak, like it did on mine, it would only leak a small bit and it took ages for me to find the fault, probablies not involve yours as its a mk1 though but for future reference its there
-
#9open the cap, and then do it to full lock left full lock right then centre?
-
#10knew about the rubbing and lowered but not about turning the wheel to bleed it.top tip preds.
