#2dodgy lamba should cause the engine management light to come on tbh but sometimes it wont, best to whack it on a diagnostics test
the sound could be the baffles disintergrating or disintergrated though -
#3cant be baffles in bk box as new and noise was there before, middle section new and cat noise wasnt there before new cat fitted.havnt had engine managment light come on either
-
#4so the exhaust is all new right??
-
#5yeah bk middle and cat,as i said preds noise appeared after cat was put on.
-
#6between manifold and cat/centre did they use a fire gasket??
id also check the actual sensors to make sure there not loose
make usre the bolts that hold the manifold to centre/cat are tight too, sometimes the springs can cause the sound your on about, also the exhaust is it a standard or aftermarket?? -
#7not sure on the gasket lame question but is the lamba sensor the one on th downpipe and is that the only sensor.gonna get diagnostic next week.just bit worried as mot next month preds.u know how they go..like the lottery lol.
-
#8you should have a oxygen sensor and lamba sensor
lamba should be before the cat and the oxygen after the cat -
#9something else i didnt know, cant you tell havnt had many saxos.will diagnostic pick up faults on either sensor so if it is sensor will machine state which one.
-
#10it might it might not mate, only way ok knowing is to put it on the machine and hope it comes up with some error code `

#11nice one preds, see what machine says next week.nothing to major i hope.
