Ideas plese! turbo??

    Hi guys,

I have a saxo westcoast and im getting quite bored with the power/lack of power!

What would b the best thing to do? i might be swapping it plus some cash for a VTS...

I love the idea of a turbo conversion but how much is that likely to cost? Doesnt have to be brand new!

So far all i have done engine wise is a BMC induction kit, and a s/s exhaust system.

Any help, ideas or contacts greatly appreciated!

    thanks in advance

    Nick

something similar has been post recently man,

no point in a turbo unless its for a VTS engine it would cost a b-b-b-b-bomb and would really get massive benefits out of it.
a VTS or even VTR conversion would be your best bet and possibly a lot cheaper too

just realised there was one about a furio turb, did have a quick look through but not close enough!!!

Only frustrating thing is i have got my car looking how i want it, (except the lexus lights!!), it is only the performance that is letting me down!

    bit fustrating i bet.
Take a chill pill... no need to go blasting around everywhere, lol.

Why is the furio information not relevant mate? what sort of specific info are you after?

so how much we talking for a vts conversion?

however much for a VTS engine (i guessing here £500). you'll need wiring looms and other shite but im not the person to ask about this really. your best bet would be to avoid the crowds of people who want a VTS engine and get a VTR that will have been removed.

also consider the raping you'll get from the insurance company when doing a conversion. You're 19 so you will get well and truely bummed.

    I agree Andrew.
As manier people have proved, myself and Andrew included, a VTR can be as much fun with a turbo !!
