Standard wheel size

  1. #1
Heyy I'm new to this so don't hold too much against me. I have bought a 1.1I 2000 saxo. I'm 17 .and can't afford to to put alloy wheels on it due to insurance. There and wheel trims on it ATM but they are badly scratched and don't look good . I was on halfords website to look at wheel trims and found a set that I like. But I am not sure of the wheel size that is one it ATM, it is tha standard steel wheels that it came with. Could anyone please tell me the size of the wheel?

    Thank you very much

    13" iirc

The writing on your tyres will say what diameter the wheel is ie 195/55/R14 R14 means 14" wheel size therefore 14" wheel trim

    Hope this helps

Have you actually rang the insurance company up regarding putting alloys on

Tell them your going to be using locking wheel nuts, it should cost you much more tbh

13's unless your tyres say different, unless you change the size of the wheels alloys should not make any differance as long as you go for something nice and not too expensive because thy will ask the value of them!

You can only try, just tell them your thinking of buying alloys with locking nuts but are not sure if it will increase the policy

in some cases they wont charge in most cases it costs an extra 40 quid
