syphoning petrol from an '08 punto

   my girlfriends just bought a new car, so shes no longer insured on her punto, and shes also just put £40s worth of petrol in there.
   
   is it possible to syhpon this out? - i've done a quick search but most methods say "jack it up and drill a hole in the tank" (obviously we cant do that because the cars still being sold) or "use a hose and suck" but how do you use a hose? and are there any other (maybe better) ways?

   I would leave it in there then you wont get people bartering as much on the price due to lack of fuel

   All you need to do is make sure the tank is higher than what your trying to syphon the petrol into.So you may need to jack the car up And then put the hose pipe or w/e in the filler hole providing there isnt a mesh to prevent you from syphoning. And once youve done this you need to suck it a little just on the pipe to start it off, but only a little and then gravity will do the rest, If not you will get a mouthfull of petrol !!

   just about to say that, just unclip the fuel filter, petrol pours out lol.
