    hi

bought i new radio today as my old one wasnt working, tried the new radio in store, worked fine, tried it in the car and didnt work at all. so im thinking its an electrical fault? also since changing radios my central lockings stopped working and my clock on the dash keeps resetting, also the needles on the fuel and temp gauge done go down when i turn of the ignition. any ideas why?

my cars a saxo furio 1.4 x reg.

its a brand new battery, no1s touched the radio b4 us as it was the original saxo radio.that decided to stop working. all we did was take the 2 plugs out the back and put them straight into the new one.

lol thers only 1 way to wire a stereo ?? the only other thing would be the red & yellow cables that just pull apart and theres only 2 possible combinations hahaha BUT they should be fine, an if u didnt know disconect the battery before u put the stereo in...
and youve blown a fuse if the dash aint working... sooo disconect the battery check the manual find the fuse for the dash replace it etc make sure u have no cables with wire stripped if it touches bare metal that will blow it again
